My school blocks these forums, it is annoying because I want to get on and check things more often.

my school blocks the weirdest things, like it blocked google images, but then we have to click on "more" and then "images" and then "advanced image search" to be able to get on it, but then why do they bother blocking it in the first place if we just go on it that way? *DUNNO

At my school, they block half the internet, they block games, and forums, and youtube, and just so many things you want to look at, and sometimes the reason is simply R Rated! They even block every image search engine they can find, and even any peer-to-peer filesharing sites! *NOOO

*XD that is pretty much the same here, but they dont block crunchyroll, the Starry Heaven website, Mangaupdates and file hosting sites like mediafire so i can still download manga and read them *XD

if i remember correctly, my highschool used to block a lot of stuff too (although i can't say if they blocked starry heaven or not because i didn't use it back then, actually, the forum wasn't even around when i was still in hs)...

i think they block image searches because they don't want people looking for porn.... i'm not sure how your school does it, angel, but when you do an advanced google image search, there's an option that will prevent "adult images" from showing up and i think that's why your school would allow advanced image search but not normal image search

but as i mentioned earlier, at my college, they don't block anything, regardless of if you're using your own computer or one of the computers in the lab or library or something *EVIL

or actually it may be the people who are the ones to blame cause if they didn't look u that stuff in school in the first place and just got down and studied, then they wouldn't have to put up bans *?? stupid teenagers...*XD

I found a way to bypass the proxy at my school, but it is a pain. I am at school right now! We need to set up that domain so that we can get on like normal.

@AngelIvory did you try getting on www.neejean.org, if you can then what I suggested with the domain thing for the forum will allow you to connect and post while at school!

how did you bypass the proxy? the only way for me to get past it is to type the url into google translator *XD but even then, i cant sign in so i can only view...

Well, I took the version of the proxy my school has, and I Google searched the version of it, and then I found a vulnerability, and after a lot of rummaging a firefox addon that lets me exploit it.

Do you have the 8e6 R3000 internet blocker? I doubt you do, but if you do then you can use the same exploit.

Well, I am in high school, but one of my classes is on computers, and in the other two classes it is the same teacher and he doesn't care if I have it out.

Whenever we use computers I get to use it though!

*LOVE My school doesn't block anything 'cause I'm in college and I use my own computer. It's great because I have to stay there half the day anyway so I have a little time to surf. My high school definitely would have blocked this site eventually. I think they had a system set up where they reviewed the websites students had been on or something, because I'd always get shut out of my favorite sites after a couple weeks. *SHOCK

My teachers never blocked those but threaten us ._. . Well , they have a mastermind of the computer to check up which computer went another website which is creepy .
