i'm in a all girl school so i dont really have guy friends=.=lll and that is why im also afraid of guys *CHOMP

I go to a co-ed school, and theres good and bad points *WIPE
you get the annoying boys of course but then you also get the nice boys, same with the all girl's school, you get the annoying girls, and the nice girls
I think the main advantage for co-ed is that you could learn how to interact with guys so you're not extremely shy when it comes to talking to people in the future *??

that's true boys can be REALLY annoying too (as i've noticed this year, for instance)

i guess what i meant was that boys and girls are annoying in different ways and i think it's a nice balance to have both

I am a boy, but I live in a country town, and there are a lot of hick/cowboy/country boys around here, and to me they are very annoying. Girls are kind and intelligent, whereas most boys are idiots. In the end I think that a Co-Ed school has a lot of benefits, but it means that there can be a lot more mischief. I am kind of the nerd type of person though, and there aren't very many nerds at my school, maybe like three in my grade at most. In the end it is kind of hard to fit in sometimes. Although don't most All Boys or All Girls school require uniforms? I'm not opposed to uniforms so much as I am opposed to having to wear pants and shoes (I wear shorts and flip flops and a short sleeve shirt all through the school year, even in the middle of winter when there is a foot of snow on the ground *LOLZ), they are kind of limiting in the motion they let you have. This post is a bit on the long side, I think that I will finish now. *XD

...dude, are you fat or something? Because my old roommate used to do that and insisted we keep the room at 50-60 when I wanted 70-75 (which is the only way I'm comfortable, otherwise I am completely freezing) and she was fat. She also would be running around in shorts when it was like 50 out. Not to mention, she would always say how hot I kept the room, but only had like 2 two pairs of clothes and only showered like once a week.

my school is coed (luckily) *BANZAI

Actually I hate cold, but I am inside for at least six hours of the day, and if I wear pants and long sleeve shirt and shoes and the such I would get really hot in those six hours, whereas with the shorts flip flops and short sleeve shirts I am freezing cold for the five minutes I am outside, but I am a good temperature inside. I might seem tough to the other students (I really don't know on this one), but I can come home and curl up under a blanket and get very hot from it, but I don't want to take the blanket off because I will be just a little cold. Although I do like having my bed cold/cool when I go to sleep and warm when I wake up. As far as showering goes, I shower every day like I should, and then I wear a different shirt, but I do only have two pairs of shorts. It is because I have been getting the same kind of shorts for the last year and a half, but it is hard to find more than two pair that fit at a time, otherwise I would have enough for one a day. It is sad, but I am so skinny I have to shop in the kids section at JCPennys for shorts, but I do have to go in the mens now for shirts. I seriously get to wear a 16 regular in kids shorts. I am like 5'11" and I am like 140 pounds, which is better than it used to be, I used to actually be underweight. Although the reason why I don't really gain any weight is because I have a low lung capacity, so I burn fat just breathing, but I can't run long distances easily, I wasn't even able to run the whole mile I only ran for the first forth of it. Here I am ranting on again about weird subjects! Fin

I don't think it would be extremely bad if i went to an all girls school, i was planning to anyway, i applied to go to secondary school (that's kinda like middle and high school smushed together) which was an all girls but they didnt accept me so i ended up going to a co-ed *DUNNO

well in your first post, you said how you currently go to all girl school and you don't really know how to act around guys so it might not be a bad idea to go to a co-ed school if you can because you have to get comfortable with them at some point and the older you get the harder it is

(i say this because my parents are very strict so i wasn't really allowed to or able to have guy friends until i got to college, really)

and you'll see, there's some cool ones and some nice ones and some annoying ones, there's all types!

Look at me, I'm annoying, yet most of the kids at my school consider me cool, and I am kinda nice. Not all boys are like in the movies! I really have to agree with berry on this one.

i know there are alot of different type of guys but u wont be able to tell which is "good" or "bad" like they might pretend to be all good and stuff *DROP....and it really hard to find a good co-ed school *SIGH *DROP

Oh, don't you worry about them all acting like they are good, you would probably have plenty of the gangster types who are weird people, and you can tell how bad the are by how perverted they are and how much they swear!

Where I live it is basically public or private, like one of each.

Well, our school used to be co-ed but that was until grade 3 then they started separating us. Girls one section, boys another.

guys are usually bad actors (saying from personal experiences) ........... i think you'll be able to tell whose a good guy and a bad guy *ROLL

I've always been in co-ed schools. I found that the boys were more annoying... usually.

Does anyone else find it confusing when someone referres to something outside of school as co-ed? The first time I encountered that term, it was a bunch of manga characters referring to Hot Springs!

i say public school *?? cause my church has a school too so eveyone at my churchs think we go to the church school and i always have to say "no i go to public school" and now its kinda drilled in me *DUNNO but i dont say co-ed every time......... that would be too much to say *DROP
