ahahah, now that's interesting. Weell, to be absolutely accurate, my first was either Rurouni Kenshin, Dragonball Z or pokemon..hmn, dont actually know which, but this was waaaY! before I knew what anime even WAS *XD

I think my first anime was Pokemon. Then I started to watch Digimon, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball. I remember watching the US premiere of Pokemon with my sisters when I was like four or three.

I did watch Digimon too... but I just liked the 1st and 2nd series... the others were more out of the context, don't you think?

I think the first anime I EVER saw was G-Force/Battle of the Planets, but I was too young to know what the heck I was watching.
Now, the first anime I KNEW it was an anime... I guess it would be a 3-way tie between Pokemon, DBZ and Sailor Moon.

Like most girls who grew up in the 90's my first taste of anime came from Sailor Moon. It was the only anime I was dedicated to and when it went off the air I turned my back on Toonami. *LIE
I didn't start faithfully watching anime again 'til Vandread aired on Scifi so in a way both Sailor Moon and Vandread where my first animes.
