I wanna watch something funny and short, preferbably less than 50 eps

im not exactly sure, since i'm never actually watched the anime myself (but i've read a bit of the manga), but Shakugan no Shana is a good one. I think it's like 20-some eps.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, this anime is hilarious, you should check it out on youtube, watch at least the 1st two episodes before giving up on the series.

it isn't dubbed into english-in fact-it was made by English speaking people!
so the dialogue and voice actors and pretty good.

iono, these are just some that i've watched and found/know to be somewhere in the humor/comedy/parody verse:
i guess FMA if wanna just watch short parts of it
FMP (all of them) is rather funny, but since its split into many seasons its rather long to watch
Gantz is rather funny too, if you're some kind of blood-guts-gore-ppl-killing-psychopath anime lover
Hale nochi Guu is VERY hilarious
and I think Luck Star, someone's been trying to get me to watch that, it's random and supposedly funny
Yakitate is funny in a way, though i gets a bit serious later on
I'm not sure about .hack//Dusk, it's supposed to be a parody, so it should be funny
Azumanga Daioh, according to some is kick ass for randomness and comedy, but still boring at times
then there's GTO (no not the drama) its also funny... and rated 18+, and deals with serious school issues
Hayate the Combat Butler, according to my brother is funny and interesting, but i found it to be boring and too random
Konjiki no Gash Bell was awesome! It was funny at times, and seriuos at other times, then it was completely sappy cliches at other times too
Lovely Complex is a funny comedy and romance rolled into one, not a typical romance too. it's rather fun to watch
Then we have Ouran Highschool Host Club, right funny that one, though it ends with serious stuff
Princess Resurrection deals with monsters and slight humor, but it depends because its more of a fantasy
Seto no Hanayome is also another awesome one, dealing with fantasy as well, but you can see the humor rather clearly
and i didnt see much of this one, but i find it to be funny, Kateyoshi Hitman Reborn, about a toddler hitman in the yakuza who tutors the next yakuza boss
and finally i have to recommend Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. It's (in my opinion) really awesome in terms of comedy, and a bit of everything else in it too.

Aishiteruze Baby, 26 eps, I thought it was cute, funny, and a lil sad at the end.
Ouran High School Host Club, 26 eps. I agree it's funny.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

well, if you read the manga then you'd know that Aishiteruze Baby isnt sad at the end at all.

A funny series. I really like the alice and supernatural stuff there. It's a really interesting series. [Not bad it wasn't a romance based]

Anywho, I second the watching of Ouran High Host Club and Full Metal Panic (FMP) - the second season is a riot.

A couple other ones to consider:

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. 14 episodes. Be prepared for ridiculous-ness. Don't mind the 1st episode. It makes sense after watching a few episodes. Kind of anyways. Haha.

Tengen Toppa Guren Lagann. 27 episodes. Absolutely epic. And the characters are hilarious. This is a mecha anime. Go watch it now and be amazed. I know I was. It's my favourite anime of all time. Nothing has come close to it yet in my book.

How about Samurai Girl: Real About High School? *?? *?? *?? It only had 13 episodes. They all good and funny. I think they are. I love that show. *LOVE *ROLL. I think you might like it also. *GOOD *LOLZ
